Ethics and Governance
Ethics and integrity have always been a significant part of both our culture and
the way we conduct business. Another important building block of corporate
responsibility is the governance structures and practices of a company. Our
policies are implemented through rigorous governance practices to ensure our

XL Giving
As a global group of companies, we realise how important it is to contribute to the communities in which we operate. We support many initiatives and programs around the world that reach out to our communities and raise awareness of important social needs around the world.
Supporting employee volunteerism is a key component of XL's philanthropy. The Global Day of Giving event was first held in 2006 to celebrate XL's 20-year history and demonstrate appreciation for our communities. Employees around the world join together to spend a day in their communities on various projects.
Working in our neighbourhoods enables XL employees to help build strong communities. It is important to us because it is in these communities that we work and live with our families.
