The XL Foundation Ltd is the philanthropic arm of XL Group companies. Since 2003, the Foundation's mandate has included all the communities worldwide in which we have a presence.
The XL Foundation was originally set up in 1992 to express appreciation to the Bermuda community, and to help in areas that benefited all residents of the island. XL Foundation donations are administered by a board of directors, all of whom are employees of XL Group companies.
The XL Foundation has a clearly defined set of guidelines for its donations.
